Car Of the Month – November 2023

2000 Ford Mustang GT by John Zoll

The fourth generation of the Ford Mustang, which includes the 2000 model year, marked a return to a more aggressive, muscular design reminiscent of earlier Mustangs. The GT model typically featured a more powerful engine compared to the base model.

The 2000 Ford Mustang GT convertible and other models from this era often had the option for a “Mach 460” sound system. The Mach 460 audio system, designed in collaboration with audio experts at Mach, featured a 460-watt amplifier, a six-disc in-dash CD changer, and multiple speakers, providing a high-quality audio experience for Mustang enthusiasts.
